Alexandra Lyashchenko
The brand face and voice of Shasta for Ukraine, the CEO and President of the non-profit, Alexandra’ s putting her heart and soul into each story and human emotion. She was born into a 2nd generation linguist, poet and artist, possessing a creative heart for dealing with public relations, writing content, hosting rallies, making phone calls and connecting with mass media. She makes charming Ukrainian style flower crowns called wreaths and door hangers to raise awareness among locals and the nation-wide population to help Ukraine.

Andriy Lyashchenko
Born, raised and schooled in Ukraine in a traditional Ukrainian family. Born engineer and an ‘engine’ of the Shasta for Ukraine non-profit.
Migrated to the US in 2007, accomplished all his career success due to his hard work, creativity and ambitiousness. At the beginning of the terrible Putin’s war, got engaged with Alexandra immediately, by donating every single day to Ukrainian army, sending drones and tourniquets, went to Warsaw, Poland, and financed most of the non- profit’s help for Ukraine. Andriy’s family is staying in Ukraine and it is his mission to help Ukraine win and rebuild it.

Patrick Karch
Patrick Karch, retired government and schools worker, is a native of the North State and is part of the KCNR Radio team. After decades of serving community causes, he turned his sights toward helping the Ukrainian people fight back against Vladimir Putins invasion of Ukraine. Acting as a Director for the Shasta for Ukraine non-profit, Patrick is focusing his efforts toward this urgent endeavor. Patrick and his wife Pamela have six children and twelve grandchildren. He also enjoys playing music.

Tatyana Binder
Born and raised in Ukraine. Together with her husband Yuri, they are raising three children. The Binder family has lived in Shasta County for almost seven years. Since the beginning of the war, Tatyana and Yuri have been helping Ukraine in every way possible. Tatyana is the mastermind of the non profit-it was her idea to establish it and get registered after the third series of drones was delivered to Ukraine’s Bucha, Mariupol and Kharkiv. Tatynana and Yuri joined Alexandra at the rally back in March 2022, and twice participated in local Redding radio programs devoted to Ukraine.

Oksana Fihurka
Oksana Fihurka is a scientific researcher at the University of South Florida. All her professional contributions are devoted to finding a way to help people struggling with life-threatening neurological diseases and disorders. And currently, when her nation and country are fighting for their lives and existence, she supports Ukraine with the Shasta for Ukraine non-profit organization. Oksana has faith that the help from our organization to Ukrainians will give them a reason to believe in the future!
